Powder Handling / weighing Stations Excel Plus und Excel Plus Safechange
These cabinets – with horizontal air flow - are used for the most demanding powder handling applications, such as high accuracy weighing or dispensing of potentially toxic powdered substances. The Safechange technology in the Excel Plus range has been designed to provide maximum safety for users and maintenance staff when exchanging filter under negative pressure.

Chemical Dispensing Station
Combination of Bigneat's most popular ductless fume cabinet and the equipment necessary for the safe dispensing of formalin.
- Safety cabinet with pre-filter and carbon filter
- Enclosure manufactured from optically clear, fire-retardant and UV stable cast acrylic
- Lighting supplied
- Work surface in stainless steel with sink, via electric pump controlled tap located over sink, for circulation of formalin
- Epoxy coated steel cupboard contains 25 litre capacity aspirator bottle (connected with sink) and electric pump controlled by foot switch

Portable Safety Cabinets "Optiflow"
Optiflow is a new bench mounted fume cabinet for the laboratory. Down flow air takes dirty/contaminated air away from the operator and down through the perforations in the stainless steel work surface.

Vertical Laminar Flow (VLF) Cabinets
- VLF cabinets are available in 3 different widths:
1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m - With all-round view into the work area
- Can be positioned on an existing bench or can be supplied as a free standing system on a supporting mobile bench or static stand
- Noise level < 65 dBA
- Pre-filter eliminates particles > 5.0 μm or larger to an efficiency of 92 %
- HEPA filter (H14) eliminate any particles > 0.3 µm with an efficiency of 99.995 %, and provide an ultrapure, particle-free environment

UV PCR Workstation
- Powerful UV tube lights are combined with carefully located optical reflectors to ensure uniform intensity distribution of the UV radiation throughout the cabinet.
- Control system allows the choice of timed UV exposure from 5 - 30 minutes.
- HEPA filtration (H14 Standard) eliminates particles down to 0.3 microns with an efficiency of 99.997 % providing ultra-clean particle free Class 5 BS EN ISO 14644-1:1999 air conditions.
- Door sensors switch off UV lamps if door flap is opened, ensuring operator safety.
- Acrylic protects the operator from beta emissions from commonly used 32P labelled compounds.
- Cabinet is supplied with handy corner shelves, which do not hinder the working area. Door flaps offer excellent access to the cabinet interior.
- A positive pressure ensures that there is no ingress of airborne contaminants from the surrounding laboratory environment.
- 18W white lights, operated from an external switch, illuminate cabinet interior.
- Side panels include ports for cable access.
