"CrysCam™"

Digital Microscope for Protein Crystal Observation and Documentation
The CrysCam™ Digital Microscope allows you to capture the images of an entire plate with a click of the mouse. The stage and easy-to-use software automatically capture the image of each well and then moves to the next. With the small footprint, the device fits into a small space and can also be set up in a cold room. The CrysCam™ can be used to see crystals during crystallization, instead of looking through a microscope. The high resolution and precise X-Y stage easily mounts to the CrysCam™ base.

Refurbished "Hydras"

Art Robbins Instruments continues to offer the entire product line of "Refurbished Hydras" to offer you high-speed aspiration and dispension of certain volumes at a low price. The "refurbished Hydras" are overhauled, inspected, assembled, tested and tested by the same engineering team that originally designed and manufactured these devices. All syringes are revised and brought in mint condition. For all "refurbished devices" the warranty is one year.

LCP Mixing Station

The LCP (lipidic cubic phase) Mixing Station is ideally suited for the mixing of viscous solutions often used for the crystallization of membrane proteins.

  • Each volume can be mixed as long as both syringes have the same loading volume

LCP Hand-Held Multi Volume Dispenser

The LCP Hand-Held Dispenser can be used with syringes from different manufacturers such as Art Robbins Instruments or Hamilton.

The Hand-Held Dispenser allows setting up to 200 steps and can move 1, 2 or 3 steps per click. The volume of the syringe can be divided into 50, 100 or 200 steps per dispense, e. g. for 10 µl the dispense volume can be set to 50 nl, 100 nl or 200 nl.

Customized product to score Terasaki plates on Microscopes

"AutoScope” features:
  • Secure handling of Terasaki plates on different microscopes.
--> We also offer suitable Terasaki plates
  • Automatically advances Terasaki plate on your microscope as the scores for each well are entered.
  • Stage movement to any well of the plate with one click of the mouse. 
  • Stage is controlled by the SystemLink HistoScope software (see below).
  • Stages are available for CK2, IX2-SP, and IMT-2 microscope from Olympus and Ts2R from Nikon Eclipse.

“HistoScope” features:

Automatic Typing Tray Oiler
for HLA laboratories

  • Equipped with a head with stainless steel pins
  • Head moves into a self-filling reservoir of oil and then automatically moves and touches the wall of the typing tray wells delivering the oil
  • Predetermined volume of oil is dispensed into all wells of a typing tray in one step
  • Volumes between 1 µl and 15 µl can be selected through the depth that the pins penetrate the oil (min. and max. volume depends on the oil used)
  • Easy operation through a switch in the front of the device
  • A removable clear acrylic cover protects the oil reservoir from contamination with dust
  • Operation in continuous mode is possible, dispensing oil every six seconds automatically
