How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected when you provide it to us. This can be for example data that you enter in our contact form.

Our IT systems automatically collect further data when you visit our website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is recorded automatically as soon as you enter our website.




Basis for data collection

The processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 4 Number 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is necessary in order to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you and so that we can provide you with our services, protect our legitimate interest and meet legal and financial regulatory obligations, which we are subject to.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website provides the correct information.
Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.

Your rights

  • You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data at any time and free of charge. Furthermore, you also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data.   • In case of violations of the GDPR, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the location of the presumed violation. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice of any other administrative or judicial remedies. However, we would appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the supervisory authority.
  • You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. 
  • The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:
    • If you deny the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the examination, you have the  right to restrict the processing of your personal data.
    • If the processing of your personal data happened / happens illegally, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data instead of the deletion.
    • If we no longer need your personal data, but must keep them in order  to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data instead of being deleted.
    • If you have filed an objection in accordance with Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, you and our interests must be considered. As long as it is not clear whose interests legally overbalance, you have the right to restrict  the processing of your personal data.
    • If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data - apart from its storage - may only be obtained with your consent or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Storage

We store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. The record retention periods depend on the type of data collected and the purpose for which this data was collected, taking into account that both the case-specific circumstances and the need to delete outdated, unused information as soon as possible. We store data records with personal data of customers, documents about the accounts, messages and other data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We can correct, complete or remove incomplete or incorrect data at any time and at our sole discretion.

SSL or TLS encryption

This page uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, e. g.  orders or inquiries that you send to us as the website operator. 
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "Http: //" to "https: //" and the lock symbol appears in your browser input field.

If you contact us via the contact form, telephone, fax or email, the data you provide us will be used to process your request and saved in case of follow-up questions. The specification of the data is necessary for processing and answering your request - without providing it, we cannot answer your request, or at best only to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us
or on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. GDPR) if requested.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.

Dunn Labortechnik GmbH informs its customers at regular intervals by means of a mailing about the company's offers. The mailing of our company can generally only be received, if (1) the affected person has a valid (email) address and (2) the affected person has shown interest in the products of Dunn Labortechnik GmbH.

The personal data collected as part of the mailing service is not passed on to third parties. The affected person can cancel the subscription to our mailing at any time. For the purpose of revocation, there is a corresponding link in every mailing.


 External hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (1 & 1 IONOS SE). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. The colleted data consists of IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access and other data that are generated through a website.

The hoster (1 & 1 IONOS SE) is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 Para. 1 b GDPR) and in the interest of a safe, fast and efficient supply of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR). Our hoster (1 & 1 IONOS SE) will only process your data to the extent that is necessary to fulfill its performance obligations and to follow our instructions in relation to this data.


1&1 Web Analytics

This website uses the analitical services of 1 & 1-Webanalytics. The provider is 1 & 1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. As part of the analysis with 1 & 1,  visitor's attendance and behavior (e.g. number of page views, duration of a website visit, bounce rates), visitor sources (i.e. which page the visitor comes from), visitor locations and technical data (browser and operating system versions) are analyzed. For this purpose, 1 & 1 stores the following data in particular:
• Requested website or file
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system 
• Device type 
• Time of access
• IP address in anonymous form (only used to determine the location of the access)

According to 1 & 1, data collection is completely anonymized, so that  individual people cannot be traced. 1 & 1-Webanalytics does not store cookies.

The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The Website operator has a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR;  the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data collected of our website include, for example, how often users visit our website or which areas are accessed. The tool we use records no personal data and is used by our web hosting provider and service provider exclusively to improve our own offer.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, that your browser automatically sends to us. 
These are:
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system 
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website - therefore the server log files must be recorded.


Google-Maps

On our website we use Google Maps to show our location and to create a route description. It is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".
Through the certification according to the EU-US data protection shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”), Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence on this data transmission.
Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and an easy findability of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
