The new Clara™ growth plate is ideal for automating your cell culture applications. It closes the gap between research and production. The high volumes of 30 ml or 50 ml enable you to grow your cells similar to a T-flask, but the standard SLAS/ANSI format removes the necessity for transferring the cells to an automatable format.

In addition, the Clara™ filter plate has small holes in the bottom of the wells which are filled with filters to facilitate subsequent sample processing.

The Clara™ plate is especially well designed for production and purification of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins, plasmid propagation and large volume suspension cell culture.

To further automate these processes the Clara™ plate can be combined with the manifold Resolvex 200 from Tecan. This system puts positive pressure on the plate and therefore, forces liquids through the embedded filters of the plate leading to a quick and reliable purification.
