Dunn Labortechnik presents the Ohaus® MB120 moisture analyzer, one of the most advanced and user-friendly devices for gravimetric moisture determination.

The latest Ohaus® MB120 model is engineered to analyze sample moisture content quickly, provide rapid access to stored data, and minimize the time required for sample preparation.

Particularly noteworthy is the device’s SmartGuide™ function, which performs automated sample analysis and creates a method, greatly simplifying the method entry process and the initial setup of the device.

Fast and efficient halogen heating technology ensures that the samples are dried in the shortest possible time. A temperature range of 40 – 230 °C is available, adjustable in 1-degree increments. Reproducible drying is achieved through uniform heating of the sample in a reflective sample chamber, yielding reliable results with a readability of 0.01% (1mg).

You can choose from four drying profiles (1. Fast, 2. Standard, 3. Ramp, and 4. Step), which allow for customized heating based on the analyzed sample type. In addition, the endpoints of the measuring methods can be flexibly set by the user according to predefined or freely selectable criteria (e.g., complete drying).

The instrument’s internal method library can store up to 100 sample measurement methods, which can easily be transferred to other instruments. The model MB120 can temporarily store 1,000 results in its internal memory; these can be printed out or exported via a USB flash drive, as a group or as individual values for subsequent data analysis. The device is equipped with an RS232 interface and two USB ports for connecting a printer, PC, or flash drive.
